Whole Brain Thinking - profiling and workshops

Whole Brain Thinking and HBDI profiles

Sense2Solve is a certified HBDI practitioner which allows us to conduct HBDI individual profiling and Whole Brain Thinking workshops.

HBDI certification

An online questionnaire is completed (35-40 min) two weeks prior to a profile debrief or team workshop.

  • We work with individuals, couples, pairs and teams.
  • Couples profiling and debriefing focuses on the relationship elements and helps to deal with relationship difficulties.
  • The "Start Thinking" and "Think about Teams" workshop are designed for teams. Understanding each other’s thinking preferences creates better team alignment in everyday situations as well as more effective team selection for tasks and projects.

Understanding of oneself can enhance personal performance, self-development, and can influence your relationship with others.

Whole Brain Model

Research has shown that
Whole Brain Thinking enhances the collaboration, productivity, and performance of teams and individuals.Remarkable results can be achieved by applying it to strategic thinking, creative problem solving, decision making, communication and other organisational challenges.

Personal relationships improve dramatically with a understanding of the differences, the strengths and the frustrations of your own thinking preferences as well as those of your partner.

Facilitated think sessions

Systematic search for ideas and innovative solutions

Sense2Solve has developed a methodology for successful ideation sessions where we use and apply specific tools and techniques to enable creative thinking.

Understanding how the brain works and how creativity works, make these sessions fun yet productive.

Thinking (that is problem solving and/or ideation) is facilitated over 3 sessions:

Session 1
starts with understanding the root causes of the problem and defining and redefining the focus area.  Some initial idea generation is done.

Note: A few days are required between workshop 1 and 2 to enable participants to look for new solutions.  With a clearly defined focus area, participants' cognitive awareness will enable them to find more interesting ideas/solutions.

Session 2 is pure idea generating where creativity techniques are applied.  The focus is to generate as many ideas as possible.  Quantity rather than quality.

All ideas are captured into Excel spreadsheets and themes are extracted which enables us to group ideas together.  These groupings assist in developing "bigger" ideas.

The final workshop, Session 3, is to select the ideas to be developed for possible implementation.  Specific techniques are used to select the ideas and then we apply thinking tools to develop the initial detailed project plan.

A follow up session could be scheduled to develop the positioning of the new ideas/solutions/products/services to decision making committees.
